Lab Band

Imagine the positively life-changing effect spending a week at "America's Camp" could have on your entire band! Take the national campus experience of the week-long Summer Symposium, add incredible evening concerts and events, world-class faculty and Music for All standards.

Now, add your band - yes, your entire band - and what you get is an unforgettable experience that will have positive impact on program for years to come. The first summer camp "Lab Band" was the Marian Catholic High School marching band of Chicago Heights, IL, under the direction of Greg Bimm, one of the most honored band programs in the marching and concert band areas. In 2006, the Southaven High School, Southaven, MS attended the Summer Symposium as a marching lab band. All 135 members and director, Andy Sanders, attended and combined a summer band experience with the one-of-a-kind Summer Symposium, with dedicated staff, resources and the full Symposium experience. In addition to rehearsals and classes, they attended every evening concert and the DCI Central Illinois Summer Music Games.
